Luke 24:13-27 “Christ in the Old Testament”

Luke 24:13-27 “Christ in the Old Testament”

“Then He said to them, ‘O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken! Ought not the Christ to have suffered these things and to enter into His glory?’ And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself.” Luke 24:25-27

Christ’s coming to earth in the form of humanity was ordained at the beginning of history, and we see reference to it in the garden of Eden (Genesis 3:15).

Christ did not come into existence at Christmas. He was present throughout the Old Testament, even manifesting Himself to Abraham (Genesis 22), Jacob (Genesis 32), and the Hebrew captives in Babylon (Daniel 3).

This Christmas season, remember who Christ is, and know that He is walking beside you through your trials and circumstances.
